Michelle graduated from Massey University in New Zealand in 2005. After spending a few years working as a mixed vet in the North Island, she moved to Australia before spending 2 years working and travelling in the UK. Upon her return to the Sunshine Coast she bought a 4WD, a dog (Jethro) and settled in Cooroy where she later met her husband and his two boys. She started at Mountain Creek Vets as a locum, but loved the team so much that she took a permanent position as the fifth part time vet. Michelle enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, with a special interest in internal medicine, and is working on improving her ultrasound skills.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys fishing, gardening, mountain biking, and has recently started riding a dirtbike and joined a “ladies gang” for weekends of camping and trail rides.
